9Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport, Saba

The Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport is notorious for its incredibly short runway, measuring only about 396 meters in length.

Additionally, the airport’s location on a cliff and its proximity to the Caribbean Sea on three sides and high hills on the fourth make landing there a daunting task. As a result, only Twin Otter propeller airplanes are capable of landing at this airport.
It’s no surprise that many consider it to be one of the world’s scariest airport landings!
