The Tower of Pisa is an iconic leaning tower located in the Italian city of Pisa. Construction began in 1173 and due to the soft ground, the tower began to lean during its construction.
After many attempts to stabilize the tower, it was reopened to the public in 2001, leaning at an angle of about 3.99 degrees.
