This road is so dangerous that rental car companies in New Zealand do not allow tourists to drive on it.

Skippers Canyon Road is carved into cliffs and has sharp turns. The road is very narrow, and two cars cannot pass each other easily. One wrong turn can send a car off the cliff. Despite its dangers, the road offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
