Rome is one of the world’s most beautiful cities, but waste collection has long been an issue in some neighborhoods.

Visitors may occasionally see overflowing bins and rubbish beside streets, particularly outside the main tourist zones. Heavy traffic also contributes to air pollution. Despite these problems, central Rome remains an extraordinary destination.
