They entered for several minutes to protest against the government and the war in Gaza. Demonstrations were seen in several Italian cities and were largely peaceful.

It is reported that the demonstrators forcibly opened the entrance gates of the historic landmark and went inside. Meanwhile, law enforcement officers blocked the road leading toward the Circus Maximus to restrict the demonstrators’ movement.
